The Broker - The Short Version
TabTrade launched in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
His background tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The speed is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. But be part of your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
