TabTrade Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off makes sense depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
